Stade de France

The Stade de France is the biggest French stadium, with 80,430 seats for football/rugby matches.  This was the work of architects Michel Macary, Aymeric Zublena, and Michel and Claude Constantini Regembal.

The Stade de France was inaugurated on 28 January 1998 during the France vs Spain football match in the presence of Jacques Chirac, President of the Republic, and 78,836 spectators.

Built for the football World Cup in France, it was also designed to host various sporting events, including football, rugby, athletics and motor racing.  It can also host concerts, major shows and events.
The Stade de France bore privileged witness to the victory in the World Cup 1998 by the French team.

The Stade de France is located 17km from Hyatt Regency Paris – Charles de Gaulle.
